Bluegum Colourwork Beanie
The vine-like movement of this colourwork pattern is Japanese inspired. The stranded colourwork pattern is worked over a 6-stitch, 14-round repeat. There are two colour options for knitting this beanie. In the three-colour beanie, the stranded colourwork is on a background of 8-round stripes in two alternating colours. In the two-colour beanie, the stranded colourwork is on a single colour background.
The beanie pattern comes in the following five sizes:
Finished beanie circumference approx 46 (48, 51, 53, 55) cm [18 (19, 20, 21, 21¾) ins] depending on yarn used and tension achieved
Finished depth approx 21 (22, 22, 23, 23) cm [8¼ (8¾, 8¾, 9, 9) ins]
It is intended to be worn with approx 4-6cm [1½-2¼ins] negative ease.
