Granny Squares

Granny squares are a great first crochet project for beginners and once you get going you'll be hooked.

We will cover making a basic granny square in either a single colour or multiple colours where you can either make lots of little squares and then sew or crochet them together to make a blanket. Or you can just keep crocheting for one massive granny square blanket. 

For this class you will need to have a basic understanding of chain, treble and slip stitches. 

About your tutor, Sharon:

Sharon from Fibre Frolic was inspired to crochet as a child by her grandmother. She started crocheting at the age of ten and has now been crocheting for more than 30 years! Sharon has extensive experience teaching crochet classes at Sew Can I, Lyttleton Stores and Parramatta College

What to bring: 

2 or more colours of 8 ply yarn and a 4mm crochet hooks.

Hooks and yarn can be purchased on the day, please arrive a little earlier
